My Journey to WA

I burned out in my job back in 2016. I took 4 years off to travel and create a completely new life. After leaving my marriage of 21 years, I took a trip with my newly adopted Shepherd mix, Aunni. I converted my Kia minivan into a camper, and we set out across the U.S. over the summer. We visited 15 states! It was the best thing I ever did! I learned to trust my instincts and grew comfortable being alone with my own thoughts.

When I returned, my goal was to rent my house out as a vacation rental and travel while building my life coaching business. Things didn't quite work out as planned, but in the process, I decided to sell my house, move to a new community across the state near the water, and buy a 500 sq. ft. tiny home. I published a book, did some workshops and health fairs, and worked hard at promoting my business. I spent a lot of money trying to figure out a way to make it work. I met my current husband, bought a home, moved again, and returned to working in schools. Since then I published two more books and created an online course that took me a year to build. I know it's a valuable course, but I have yet to make any money on it.

All this to say, I'm very happy to have discovered Wealthy Affiliates! I'm now retirement age and my ultimate goal is to retire 2 years early and travel the world. I know this will work if I keep at it. And the bonus is, I'm also learning to build my own websites, create my own ads, and I'll be able to use my acquired knowledge to promote my course and books as well.

I'm working afternoons, evenings and weekends on building my WA businesses. I'm determined to make this work, and I know it will! It's time for me to have the freedom I crave. I can see it happening, and I will not stop until it does!
