Funny thing.
Its amazing how we tend to take for granted our physical abilities. This fiberglass tomb that weighs a million pounds on my leg has really made me realize how much I have had to depend on others. (Yes I get up sneak and walk on it on occasion..its the non compliant nurse in me...we are horrid patients)...but all I am doing doing is setting myself back even more weeks. I am grateful for WA and all the knowledge I have already gained, the ability to apply it to my website (working on only one at a time...due to some wise advice).
I have realized the importance of setting short and long term goals... not sure I have ever done that before. I have always been the all go no quit kind of person....Difficult to say the least to swallow that pride. Someone commented I have found the silver lining of this... I actually just watched that movie Silver linings Playbook....made me realize in any situation there can be a positive :)
I guess I am still a work in progress...
On a positive note my fiberglass tomb comes off the 29th.... for 2 days for the assessment of all the nerve damage I have done to that darn ankle... unfortunately it has to go back on after that... here is hoping it wont be as darn heavy the next time :)
