So, I got a phone call from Google Business today, to verify my listing. At the end of the call, they told me that my business qualifies for page one listing, and transferred m

I think that "worth it" depends on you and what your goal is. If you're selling a $500 thing then ads might be worth it. If it's a $5 thing then maybe not.

Regardless, you'd first want to know if the keyword that your ad is going to target will convert. If you know that it does (from the data of your existing content and seo) then maybe you start with a small ad buy to expand on the traffic. If the ad converts then you can scale up your budget to get more traffic and more conversions.

Does that make sense? Kyle also covers this concept in the boot camp training.

I am not 100% on this but I believe what they are trying to offer you are those paid ads that sometimes appear as the very first listings on a SERP before the other rankings.

I have heard it several times that the vast majority of organic traffic rarely if ever click on those ads, and simply skip to the ones below them.

You might want to do a little more digging before deciding whether or not to go that route.

Kind of what I was thinking. Thank you.
