Keep moving and stay strong!
The past few days for me have been an eye opener. It seems like I don't really get moving fast enough until I actually see results.
There is so much uncertainly in business, and one can never really know if/how they will succeed until they get to a certain point.
While it does help that I have seen some positive results from all of my work over the past year, I keep wanting more and more results. It seems like I am never satisfied with having achieved what I had set out to achieve.
I wonder if I am addicted to positive reinforcement to the point where I feel like my world would be crushed if I did not keep growing. Is this good or bad?
There is another way of thinking about work that I have recently tried to become accustomed to. When I write articles, I don't do it with the mindset that 'if I do this, I will make money'. I simply do it with the intention of being my best self.
By being my best self, I am working towards being strong instead of waiting for those moments of joy that come with success. Those moments of joy are fleeting.
So my goal for the next few days is to make this project into a spiritual journey. I will not be so hard on myself for the little failures that I feel dominate my life on a daily basis. I will just stay strong and patiently work away at this project. And once this project has reached the level of success I am looking for, it will just be on to the next one.

I don't think there is anything better than self-motivation. Striving to do your best. And learning to be better.
I'm all about bettering self, and I fervently believe that there is always a better way to do something...always. But there's a fine line between wanting to be better and being obsessed with it.
