There always comes a time in your life when someone close to you, such as your children, spouse, parents or other loved ones, get sick and need to go to a hospital. This is a fact. But, how do we find out which hospitals are good enough to take care of our loved ones ?

There are several ways to find the Top Hospitals:

1. US News & World Report list of the top hospitals in he nation
2. JCAHO
3. Word of mouth

US NEWS & WORLD REPORT lists the very best of the Top American Hospitals and their rankings based on various specialties. These specialties are listed as under:

MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE: If you live around New York City, or even the nearby states such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Connecticut, I would strongly recommend New York Presbyterian Hospital. They have been consistently ranked as one of the Top Hospitals in the nation for several years. They are number one in New York City. I always had good experiences with them. My Mother, Bless her soul, had a kidney transplant there, which extended her life by 13+ years. She also had eye surgery. My dear departed Father, who recently passed away, Bless his soul, a well, also had eye surgery.

So you can see why I am very comfortable recommending this hospital.
