Are You Focused?
Are you focused? Pretty simple question right? I thought that I was focused.
I mean I have goals. I write them down. I could not figure out why my sales were just a little bit above where I was last year. I put on my thinking hat. Why is my sales about the same?
Two things came to mind.
- I am not tracking my progress and evaluating my results consistently!
- I am a rabbit!
Now, I can deal with the first one. Write down my goals, track the results and then evaluate the results. I can do that. Just be disciplined and committed to my progress.
Oh but that second one. I had the realization that I am a rabbit. I mean, I woke up one morning early this past week and said to myself, "Oh No! I am a rabbit!"
What do I mean by a rabbit? Well, a rabbit jumps on the latest strategy that is out there. Then, the rabbit hears about another platform that is working for someone. So, that rabbit hops on another platform before mastering the one that she is on. That is me!
What can a person do if she is a rabbit? She slows down and focuses!
Yes, I am on multiple platforms. Not giving those up because those platforms are growing. But, that podcast that I want to start will have to go on the back burner for awhile.
Got one strategy that I am really focusing on and plan to teach it to those who want to learn!
So, this rabbit is going to slow down and focus. At the end of the fiscal year, this rabbit will be in a better place because of it.

Apparently not. I do focus on my online work (and I check out things as well because to me that is part of the work).But I am here too much the past week I think.
Usually am hyper focused. And first week or two barely participated here.
Considering I have been here only about a month (not quite even I think!) and my Rank is now showing 9646... that tells me I am spending way too much time here the past week or so.
Odd thing is l don't do much. A comment here. A comment there. Made a total of 4 blogs here.
I actually see that number backwards of how most view it probably. To me the lower it gets the less effective I am being building my online business.
So after this comment (lol) I am done commenting for a while. Maybe limit it to once per week.
I am a rabbit too...hard to stay focused because I want to always see if something else might work better or faster. Have to work on that!
