I have no complaints with wealthy affiliate. Due to medical issues and unforeseen circumstances, I need to terminate and to stop my $49. per month payment. How do I proceed?
If you have a website up and running you should move it to another host or at least make sure you keep a copy. It will stay here for 60 days should you decide to come back.
Click on Profile, Settings, Subscription settings, Membership and click stop billing and cancel membership

Trying to create my home page in Wordpress dashboard
When I click on "set up your homepage" I get a "bad request" error message.

I do not have a landing page,so I have used my homepage to work as a landing page.
If you look at the image Larry88 has sent you, mine is a bit different as I use Rank Math as my SEO, but they are pretty much the same.
Go to settings-reading,and you will find the options you may choose from.
I click on Static Page in Your Home Page settings. In the Home Page Box I have the title of my home page. The Posts page I have left blank. The next is pretty much the same as Larry88's screen shot.
Also when you go into your first page on your site, it should be your home page. If you look at the top there is customize title, click on that, on the left you will see a bunch of options. Scroll down to Home page settings Click on Static Page make sure you have typed in your Home page, click published and you should be all set.
I know I have the extended version as a reply. But somewhere in the training it was suggested to me that if you do not have a landing page, use your Home page as a Static page.
I hope I did not cause any confusion.
Would love to know how you make out.

I have used the AIO, Yoast SEO's everyone has there preferences. Personally I have found Rank Math with a lot of helpful hints. Well a picture is worth a thousand words, on my way to get one.

Is this a recently imported domain? If that is the case, allow 24-48 hours for the domain to propagate. If not it could be either a database error, where you will need to ask support for a backup copy of your site or a simple thing like clearing the cache from your browser. Try doing the same thing in another browser to see if you get the same result. All else fails just in get in touch with support as I am only guessing. Good luck :)
