The virus's origin.possible origin!

Last Update: March 14, 2020

Hey everyone,

Found this CNBC video on the origin of the COVID19 virus. Interesting to watch.

LINK - Origin of the virus.

Just wanted to share this with everyone. My girlfriend who lives here in Belgium sent this to me. Please read and act accordingly. Remember this is information I was given, not yet thoroughly researched to 'reflect FACTS as the world knows it'.

FYI
This info is from my friend that works for CDC that passed this along to his family and friends. I'm passing it along as well.
The new NCP coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days, how can one know if he/she is infected. By the time they have fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs is usually 50 % Fibrosis and it's too late!
Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning:
Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stuffiness or tightness, etc., it proves there is no fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicating no infection.
In critical times, please self-check every morning in an environment with clean air.
SERIOUS EXCELLENT ADVICE by Japanese Doctors treating COVID-19 cases:
Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat is moist, never DRY. Take a few sips of water every 15 mins at least. WHY?
Even if the virus gets into your mouth...drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your esophagus into the stomach. Once there in tummy...your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly....the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That's very dangerous.
Please send and share with family, friends and everyone.”

Stay healthy.

Michelle

I am confused why you have left this up, unedited, with the heading "Information you can rely on.the virus!" when it has already been pointed out it is untrue and is spreading misinformation!

You should At least include the Snopes Articles and point out you should not believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet.

We all make mistakes and get duped from time to time, but after it being pointed out, to leave it unedited is a bit wrong!

Thanks for your input Stephen. As you realize, we are all human and certainly not 100% perfect.

I leave the reactions of anyone to this article up to them and how it resonates with them. All information presented is as I have received.
With so many 'opinions' around town, ultimately, it is up to the individual to make an informed decision based on their research as well. What is fact for one man may be poison for the next one - we are all different.
Snopes dot com is also a website created by dear humans and no one is or was ever prepared for the onslaught of this virus.
I have read your suggested URLs and I am sure others might/will too.
Ultimately, the health decision for anyone rests with themselves and their health advocate, who is/or should be adeqautely trained to tackle any medical issue - seen or unforseen - in relation to due causes concerning that indivual.
Just for the record, I am replying to your comment just to highlight the fact that any discussion or point is 'open' to feedback. The best feedback is one that is constructive and presented in a way to encourage action and not brow-beat into submission.
Thanks for taking the time and best of health to you.

I’m writing this comment in Croatia EUROPE. So far Croatia has 25 confirmed Corona virus diseases. Authorities suggested to avoid kisses, hugs and handshakes. DON’T touch nose and eyes. If you must caugh or sneeze, cover Your mouth and nose with hankerchief. If you DON’T have handkerchief, caugh in the apparel sleeve on Your elbow. Wash Your hands minimum 20 seconds. Virus can survive 12 hours on the metal surface like door knobs, handlebars in public transport, toilets, shopping malls. When using ATM, cover its keybord with transparent tisue. Follow the same procedure during checkout on POS machines in the stores or when you ring someons interphone bell. One metar distance from other person(s) in public is a minimum. DON’T eat uncooked Food. Eat only fruit that can be peeled (NO strawberies. Yes apples, oranges or bananas). Avoid unnecccesary visits to caffes, restaurans, cinemas, theaters etc. It is important to share this and reach as many citizens as possible.

I agree with most of what you wrote,

But "By the time they have fever and/or cough and goes to the hospital, the lungs is usually 50 % Fibrosis and it's too late!"

This is not necessarily the way it goes. It CAN, but a fever and cough can be among the earlier symptoms and may not worsen.

Being in the "elderly" age group they say is most at risk, I've been studying up a lot on it!

Absolutely, R. The elderly are so much more at risk
