I'm back!
Hi guys! I'm very happy to be back. I took advantage of the “we want you back $10 offer” and I really want to make it worth this time. Even tough I was on vacation at the time of the offer I decided to become premium anyway and now that I'm back home I don't want to waste any more time.
I’m embarrassed to say when I signed up last year I just got stuck with a very basic step: finding my niche. My embarrassment comes from not being a newbie. I've been familiar with internet marketing for more than 2 years, though with no results yet I have a pretty good understanding about what it takes to make money online. But I guess that knowledge alone won't do the trick.
I couldn't move forward on my first month, just kept looking for content about finding niches and by the end of it I was very discouraged. Information overload took over. The questions that were going (still are) on my mind were: should I promote physical or digital products? Should I write in my own language (Portuguese) which is easier or in English and have a broader audience but knowing it’s going to be much harder to create content and etc? What are your thoughts about all of this? I Appreciate any advice you could give me so I can have a different start this time :)

That is true Steve, Marina your English is excellent. How about a bilingual site, English and Portuguese? Imagine the audience then!
I am lost in the world of internet marketing and am about to step back for 6 to 8 weeks. To be frank I did not use the resources available at WA as I should have. When I come back, just watch me.
Good luck and just do it.

Hey there and welcome back. I am sure that one time or another all of us get discouraged. However, do not let that last too long. The fear of the unknown can be great and that is what you need to overcome. I think you should stick with English. Your written English seems fine. I was also obsessed with the notion that my website did not have anything to do about making money. On the advice of several well wishing WAers, I wrote about what I am passionate about. I am told the revenue will come later. People need to trust you first before they consider buying stuff. Build those relationships. So that's my method and I am sticking to it. If I can help, do let me know. It is a journey.
Hope this helps you.

Hi, Howard. Thank you for your advices. I guess everybody goes through a phase of self-doubt when starting out, right? I'm glad I'm not alone. I'll probably stick with English as you suggested :)
I agree with Steve, your English is marvelous! And a lot of us have issues with finding a niche so don't be hard on yourself or discouraged! Christa :)
Thanks, Steve! I learned English on my own and I love it! I'm a little insecure about creating a whole site in English though. I'm afraid I won't sound like a native English speaker.
