Hello! I am MV, and I was born 87% deaf. It presents challenges, but has never stopped me from doing anything hearing people do.

In fact, I am a proficient guitar and bass player, and have performed all over the world (even spent a few hours in a French jail for street busking in Paris--apparently Parisians are persnickety about permits).

It was worth it. There's nothing like a standing ovation after a song and before arrest; it can take your imagination's breath away.

Hey there! Thank you so much for taking the time, and your encouragement; it means a lot to me. My "real" job is killing my spirit. I'm more nervous with this than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs!

Best to you!

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

By-the-by closed captioning would certainly be of help for me and expand your market (as well as showing an awareness). Peace, out.

At this point, we don't have closed captioning on the videos here. But do know that all content here is "text based" and there is supplementary text based training with all of the videos.

All commentary, all blog posts, and all questions here are in textual form as well, so you will still be fine even if you have issues hearing videos.

Also, one trick that I have used in the past is playing dictation software while a video is playing on your computer and this will actually transcribe the video.

Thank you for your suggestions, will definitely investigate. As an aside, may I ask you where you are from? Odd question, I realize.

The reason I ask is that as a semi-deaf person, other's pronunciation intrigues me. In your case, specifically, how you say the word "process".

Please understand that this is in no way a criticism, simply interesting to me. You say, "prOcess", I say, "pRAcess".

Again, no critisism; in fact I like your's better.
