For those of you struggling to verify their phone numbers for Google AdSense

Yikes, I have been trying to verify my phone number for Google AdSense for a couple days now and kept running into error message saying that my phone number was invalid. I typed it in the form 1112223333 and that did not work.

I tried 111-222-3333 and nothing. I then tried 1-222-333-4444 and again failed and was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the problem was. Unfortunately, there was no direct help or support I could contact on Google AdSense so I gave it a day and restarted my computer thinking maybe it is just a glitch.

Long story short, I finally found how to do it and there is no way I could have figured this out on my own by guessing so I thought I would share this and save you all a massive migraine.
