Wow can this Really be the Beginning

I have always been asked the question "what do you want to do when you grow up" as I am sure everyone has been. I have never had a answer to the question until today. As simple as my answer is, I am unsure what it truly means or entails for my path I am on. I want to provide for my family and loved ones. But more then just make a living.

My dream is to be a example of a true man of God. My life experiance today really put it into prospective for me like nothing else has ever done.

I was on my way to work this morning after another typical dragging myself out of bed type of start a few hours late to work before my feet hit the floor. Just a mile or so from the turn for work I pulled up on a man walking the very dangerous country road I grew up on. Small country town, no tresspassing signs and no speedlimits type of road that just one hill not paying attention too what you are doing and you could meet a 18-wheeler topping the hill at 50mph.

This particular individule really caught my eye. Not just because he was on this road, or not wearing a shirt but also at the same exact spot many years ago I had my first accident in a vehicle. (very minor but a very vivid memory) This man was just out of his previous situation less then 48 hours. All his belongings stolen, in size 40+ jeans, no shirt, no shoes, no socks, covered in urine and physically handycapped. Walking to the next town over to try and find some food and some cash for his next meal.

Without a second thought after pulling up next to this gentlemen I knew the Lord had put him in my path for a reason. I got him into my truck and could think of absolutly nothing else but "what could I even do for this man" I am broke, living off change from my last paycheck, could barely put fuel in my truck to get me to work for the week, and so on and so forth. But I could not shake the FACT. I have never been without no matter what "situation" the father put infront of me he always made sure I had plenty. So I began with my name, "hello my name is Murphy Douglas" after what seemed like five minutes of him trying to speak he responded with his. Larry Geen.

My lesson today has lead me here. To WA. Where my pursute of bringing the Holy Spirit into your life with this simple lesson. No matter how hard, different, unfair, unjust, or unbelivable your life might be at this moment. The Father has a purpose for you everyday. Never without a plan or a opportunity to make a difference no matter how small.
