AM I EVEN? - Affiliate quest diary Part 1
I started a while ago, albeit slowly.
The niche deciding phase was a tricky one. I decided between guinea pig cages (that would branch into care as a side-focus) The best colouring pencils (side branching into art help + supplies) and DIY Computer parts with prebuilts as a side-branch, all containing useful hardware facts. Or make money online - with another flavour.
Ultimately, I decided on the most latter. I want to have the psychology of motivation and addiction, with some money-making tips - aimed more towards affiliate marketing. It's a problem a lot of aspiring and "lazy" entrepreneurs have. But I don't want to scrap my other affilate marketing ideas, as least not most of them.
"But why not just have a MMO site targeted towards a specific audience looking to make money online?" good question. I wanted something more to write about. Targeting towards a very specific niche only gives you so much to work with.
Originally, I thought of promoting WA sooner rather than later, but I feel I need a more full-on experience, so I can give a well-informed review. This also will give me time to guide through referrals much more effectively. I'll be writing up a "Beyond the green button" help sheet, containing the most useful tips linked within a single page - and a summary of each link. Some links may be premium, some not. Collaberative help will also be greatly appreciated.
If you think I feel overwhelmed, nervous and question myself if this is the right decision, you'd be completely correct! Sometimes I think my scope is too wide. And that there are ways I want to customise my site, but don't exactly know how to do them.
And I gotta admit that feeling makes me procrastinate. Time to zzzzz....
