Hi my fellow WA members,

Thank you for stopping by and read my blog post. In today's blog post I want to share this week's progress with you.

- First of all, I managed to write three blog posts this week. Yeah! That's right on schedule.

Here they are:

http://howtofindthecheapestflight.com/pizza-hut-cebu-the-place-to-go-if-youre-a-pizza-lover

http://howtofindthecheapestflight.com/best-day-of-the-week-to-buy-airline-tickets-get-the-answer-here

http://howtofindthecheapestflight.com/what-is-a-frequent-flyer-program-and-what-benefits-does-it-offer

- I left some comments on websites of other WA members

- I answered some questions of other WA members, including helping one member via PM

- I decided to explore the "stumbleupon" website to share my posts with other people. For those of you who are interested, I could create some training on this as soon as I'm allowed to (3 month mark and all)

Then there's some non WA related progress I made.

Before I'll get into details, I think it's important to give you some background info about myself.

- Because of my Aspergers Syndrome it's impossible for me to keep a regular job and because of that the Dutch government supports me financially. In addition, they've given me a so called "job coach" to see if I could contribute to society in my own way.

- I live on my own and I have weekly meetings to make sure that things are going okay and there are no problems, either financially or otherwise. I'd like to refer to this situation as supervised living.

Well, now I can share my non WA related progress with you.

As all of you guys know, I'm in the process of moving to Cebu. However, in my case this requires some third parties to give their final "Ok" on this. My job coach and supervisor are helping me with this.

I sent some emails last week and I kept on checking my email box in case the recipients of my emails sent a reply. They didn't and I kind of felt frustrated about it. Luckily, this week I received a reply on those emails. So what happened next?

- My job coach called me to say she was very surprised about what I emailed her the other week

- I told her about something I discovered regarding my welfare paycheck (if that's the right word).

She said she would call the Dutch government herself to verify. She called me back right away saying that what I discovered seems to be correct. Well, let's say I have a 80% guarantee that it's correct. You know, the person I have to discuss my moving plans with could always say that it's not correct. In that case it would mean that they reduce my welfare paycheck by 50%. I won't freak out now and just let it come my way.

- My job coach also advised me to call some organizations for more information.

Let it be known that I absolutely HATE making phone calls. Luckily, I found out that I don't have to contact one of the two organizations I had to call. Simply because I'm moving outside of Europe. The other organization, however, I still need to call. I decided to discuss with my supervisor whether my social worker could help me with that.

She agreed with me so after Thursday's meeting I emailed my social worker and explained my situation to her. I hope she'll reply on Monday or Tuesday. Would be great to end my 27th year on this earth with some good news. Yes guys, Thursday November 20 is my birthday. My dad, his new wife and my grandparents will visit me on Thursday morning.

Um... Let me think.. Did I forget something? I don't think so. So, once again I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read my blog post. Have a great weekend and a great week everyone!

Nice blog Muriel, you are surely full of life and spirit and not willing to back down at all. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your family and a Happy Birthday! :))

Thank you very much, Kim! LOL! Full of life and spirit? You should see me when I wait for a meeting to get started or when I'm in a meeting. Thanks for your advanced happy birthday wishes, too.

Too funny. Lol. :))

Wonderful blog Muriel. You are doing so well in your first 3 months of being here. Sometimes we need to pinch ourselves when we look at what we have achieved in such a short time.
Keep going forward as you are and remember you have family support here as you can see below plus more.
Looking after yourself take care and always go forward.
Andre

Hi Andre! Long time no see. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. Yes, you're right. I do have to pinch myself a lot when I see all the comments coming in on both my website and on my WA blog posts. It's like the people know that I'm on to something.

Your welcome and yes the people do know you are on something it's called success.
Take care
Andre

Life is full of challenges, Muriel. Keep up with the right recipes and you'll find it very tasteful. I'm sure you're enjoying your journey.
Take care !
Norleila

I sure am enjoying my journey, Noreila. Thank you for your encouraging words!

Busy week as usual. Now....relax for a day. :)

I will definitely relax, James :) Thanks for reminding me of that :) Sunday is my day to relax and think about anything other than writing/publishing blog posts.

Great week Muriel!

It sure has been a great week, Angela. Luckily next week I'll write on topics that I have in my head already, so no research needed. I can easily outline each post according to the plan Kyle discussed.

Sounds like another smooth week ahead :)

I sure hope so, Angela. Pray for me :)

you bet!

You are doing well...keep writing like this, it's also good for your own 'good feeling' development...I wish you all the best!

Thank you very much, Siddharth! I'll definitely write many more blog posts both here at WA and on my website ;)

Nov. 20th, huh? One week before me. :) Hopefully, the powers that be will make the way easy for you to move to Cebu. I'm amazed they will still pay you at all in a foreign country, but I'm glad to hear it! On to Cebu!!!

LOL! Only a week before you I see. This makes it easy to remember your birthday, Carla. Both Candice and I are very positive that I can be there by next year. The only question that remains is when next year. I guess I can be "thankful" to my country for at least one thing.

Also, I'm lucky that I'm moving to one of the few countries outside Europe that The Netherlands signed an agreement with. Many countries around the world don't have such an agreement and if I had chosen to live there, I wouldn't get my welfare paycheck.

Thank you for the update. Lots of exciting things happening. Glad to hear you are getting closer to Cebu. Keep us posted.

Hi Donna! Thank you very much. I'm juggling many things on a daily basis and sometimes it's hard to take breaks, but I'm hanging in there. I'll keep you posted for sure.

Hi Muriel! -

So the meeting you had with your 'supervisior' - last Thursday was favourable?

Hi David! Yes, the meeting seems favorable. I hope I have more clarity next week.

Glad things are coming together for you. See you in Cebu!
.

Thank you very much, Gregory!

You are very welcome.
