Go to your menu on your site and look for where have the header, paste the link in your header. The other way to do this is use the plug in ad inserter and paste the link into ad inserter. This way no one sees the text script in the header when they come to your site. Hope this helps. Good luck friend.
I followed the WA training and got accepted as an Amazon Associate 6 months ago when I was first starting out. I haven't gotten any sales through my site, so Amazon cancelled
Hey Max,
You may also want to check out Kyle's post regarding the Amazon Associates program... The Amazon Affiliate Program is Officially in Free Fall. This should give you some ideas on how to move forward.
Best,
Jason
Yeah, they are really screwing over affiliates.
Find other affiliate products to promote.
And I'd recommend focusing on digital products with recurring commissions.
It's frightening, four and half months no sales. It's very frustrating but whether Amazon or not we shall have to move on. I will suggest that new members should be advised to sign on to Amazon after 6 months of creating their websites.
I think there are so many things to learn before joining affiliate programs and also I think as 'newbies' our best advice should be the WA training and to continue with SEO content creation for the first 3 - 6 months to be well established.
Early google indexing and ranking even though good may also be deceptive. We are still learning.
Basically you have to make 3 sales within 180 days from the day you sign up with Amazon Associates or your account will be closed. I recommend you keep writing articles to attract visitors and when you have 50-100 visitors per day, you just apply again.
It happened to me too
I don't think you should worry about it too much.
Build your content and grow your website.
I didn't see any thing and they cancelled my account.
It's been a year since I joined and I have not yet made any monetary progress as such.
I guess it's not a get rich quick scheme after all. 😊
No, this is not a get rich scheme, we all have to put the work in, and have faith that the system does work. It takes more time for some to earn, while others can make some money in a short period of time.

Hello all,
Since my site is based on exercise, I find that certain keyword phrases should be used multiple times for different posts: for example "[keyword] for lower body"
So if you are writing 1000 word posts as recommended you will find yourself pushing out keywords unintentionally. There is no problem using keywords more than once unless you are "keyword stuffing" which is using the same keyword so much it's obnoxious. Just write naturally, inserting a keyword once or twice or three times in a lengthy post. It will work. You'll see.
does jaaxy see these as two different keywords
personally i would not use the same keyword as you are competing against yourself and google will pick the one post that it thinks is most relevant on your site and rank only that one for that keyword...
can you run it through answerthepublic and come up with anything else for other titles or use one of the multitude of title generators online...
good luck
phil
Hi no. You need a keyword a post. You write it in the title and again in first and second paragraph then write freely. Some may include it again in the conclusion if relevant and conveys a message.
Onwards next post a new keyword, so on so forth.
While sometimes we may run with similar keywords across our blogs it is our responsibility to focus creating content that covers totally the targeted chosen keyword.
Thank you, this seems to be the main takeaway from the answers given. Creativity with keywords instead of using the same ones over and over.
You can *use* the same keywords in multiple posts, but you should never *target* the same keywords with multiple posts.
Can you elaborate? Ie, "[resistance band training] for upper body" and "[resistance band training] for lower body." Does that mean I'm targeting the same keyword?
I'm having trouble understanding which response (of the three given so far) is the best one to follow, as they all seem to give different answers to my question.
Thanks for the help.
No, because you didn't create both those posts with the primary focus of ranking for "resistance band training", so that is just a secondary keyword. Your primary target/focus keywords are "resistance band training for upper body" and "resistance band training for lower body".
The problem would arise if you were creating multiple posts with the same focus keyword. Example:
"[resistance band training] - 4 best ways"
"[resistance band training] - handy tips"
Etc
Hi
I wouldn't advise using the same keyword for multiple post because your posts could be competing against one another
I'm sure that they are other keywords that you can use when referring to upper body exercise.
For example, the upper body have different names or parts - humerus, elbow, triceps, shoulder and biceps to name a few
Other words to describe these exercise can be lose weight, tone, increase , get rid of etc
I hope this helps
Thanks much. The competing with yourself thing makes sense. I will change things up with every post.

I have been updating older posts to bring the new "AIOSEO Score" up as close to 100 as I can. Most of the time the lower options definitely help, but sometimes they confound t
I use Yoast, but it's the same idea. I use the suggestions to make sure I don't forget any of the vital parts. Sometimes I do get everything to go green (Yoast does colors) but quite often I still have an orange or two out there. That's ok, as long as you have the vital SEO factors set.
Thanks, I keep seeing Yoast mentioned on here. Maybe I'll look into it at some point. AIOSEO seems to be OK for now.
Both serve the purpose. I learned Yoast before coming to WA, so it's like an old habit. 😀 I actually upgraded some of my sites to Yoast premium for some of the benefits of that, but the free version is good for most.
You will never reach 100, actually, that's a lie, you can get a score of 100, but then your post won't make much sense to a human. The score is just a guide, and even plugin developers, such as All in One SEO, Yoast, and Rank Math, tell you not to be obsessed with getting 100. Just do you best based on the recommendations, and what your audience wants to see.
Hi, don't focus too much on this score. Just write your post and make sure to have an internal link, external link, and relevant images. That's all you need to rank.
The plugin still got some bugs.
Every time I write or edit a post, it can show me a score of 100, but once I hit the "update" button, it comes down to 76/80 or whatever
Can I ask for some pointers on ideas for external links? We're supposed to have external links in every post?
Hi, yes we are supposed to have an external link on every page. Always find a way to link to an external source. If you don't want to link to your competitors, then link to Wikipedia
