Time is the enemy for starting a business (it's not what you think.)
Many come in and expects instant success without putting in
- time to learn
- time to grow
- money
Well, OK WA will tell you that you don't NEED to spend money on anything else, and I think that's probably right if you're willing to put in the time.
But... they will also tell you there are tools that are time savers (Canva is a huge one though there is a free plan even there, but you'll love the paid version and it's only about $14 a month. If you HAVE to spend money on anything outside of WA... well I digress)
Even if you put in the time, a business grows on its own schedule, not yours.
You didn't understand the training the first time you did it (it really does take time!)
You need to learn about your audience (that takes time too, learning who you are writing for)
You need to find your audience. Are they on Facebook? On your blog? On YouTube?
I have been at this for about 18 months now. I am just now starting to see results. Part of it is that my time is not my own. I have personal commitments. Maybe 2 hours a day if I'm lucky.
But I am passionate and I am stubborn and I am persistent.
After 6 months I made my first sale
After 17 months I saw a breakeven month.
Last month? Month 19? I finally saw more money out than in. And 27 items sold.
First 3 days of this month? 10 items sold. If they all ship, I may have already hit breakeven.
I still have a lot to learn and a lot to do. It may take time, but I will get there.
You have to find who you're selling to, and that shifts over time
So you have to keep watching, looking...

Nothing comes overnight Michael (unless we are bloody lucky)!!
Time is the most important commodity we have and one we can never get back, so... it's imperative to use it to the max!
Congratulations on your progress so far though my friend!
Keep up the fantastic work and progress! :-)
👍👍
Again, this is cool, Michael. We need testimonies, we who are yet to sell a thing, WA or something else. Keep us posted and informed. I love it.
Yes, audience, target audience is key, as well as a hustle as you can testify. But shall I sit and wait for a miracle? Nope! I work. I'm seeing lots of clicks to my WA affiliate links, mainly from my 3 websites, no referral yet. But they will come.
I just need to know or do more about audience research. Who is my target audience?
Exactly. It takes time to get your flow and figure out what your audience wants to hear. Also, you need to establish trust and authority. That takes time

We're all given 24 hours each day. What we do with these hours determine our success.
