Dear Amazon.

Well I got my response from amazon, here is the gist of it:
I'm sorry for the difficulty you're having with the Product Advertising API. Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide development support beyond the resources provided below. We can advise on general issues that pertain to your account and the program, but we're unable to provide you with development support.
Duh.. duh...duhhhhh
I was asking them why the API was telling me that I wasn't compliant.
Oh well. I will just push forward. I am much further along than I was a week ago,
86 clicks yesterday on amazon, 5 clicks on GSC.
No sales, no understanding why there are 271 clicks and no sales.

Hi Michael
Your number of sales per click is dependent on many things, including the popularity and cost of the products you sell.
It’s very possible that you need an average of over 271 clicks to make one sale.

Persistence pays off, MToback! Despite the challenges with Amazon's API, your progress is commendable. Keep pushing forward, and I'm sure success is just around the corner.

Curiouser and curiouser, as Alice would say.
Why have a help centre that doesn't help.
Keep us in the loop Michael.

Amazon could care less about you. That's how they are. They treat everyone badly and only look for ways to make more money for themselves; that's why they only have a one-day cookie.
I can't stand them.
