Approved for google adsense!

I was looking for ways to monetize my blog. Best would be to improve my CTAs (and I will do that too), but I thought that it would be a good experience to try ads.

My traffic is up to close to 4K/views a month. Enough for adsense. So I went over to my adsense account only to discover there were a few small issues with getting it approved. Once I connected the account they approved it within 24 hours!

Now I need to go ahead and configure the account. Will do that over the next few days.

This has been a good month so far. Started with 8 days in a row of making sales, starting from the end of last month. Now it's 7 of 9 days and more sales dollars than I made last month. I also made a $50 bonus from Amazon for achieving $1600 in sales, and just a hundred or so shy of the next level of $2600 now so might turn that into a $100 bonus!

WA works if you put in the time and are willing to learn!

Michael

Congrats on the progress! Keep up the good work!

Congrats! This is very motivating, Michael!

Great going Michael!! A lot of traffic is needed when it comes to Adsense.... but something is better than nothing my friend!

All the very best moving forward as always buddy! :-)

Yes I don't know the exact number. I know that they cost it out per thousand so I thought I needed a few thousand before I tried. I've heard from several people that mediavine is better, but you need at least 50,000/mo for that so that's at least a year a way for me.

So I thought i would try something. It's live now. I just let Google do its thing. I will see what it looks like for a few days then see where to go from here.

Exactly my friend! We need to monetize when we can!

My best advice is to set how many ads and where to put them, otherwise..... your site will become overwhelmed with ads absolutely everywhere and people just won't stay there and go to the competition instead! :-)
