I'm Using My Desk Again

Phew! It's been an intensive few days since I started the training. In my bedroom there's a desk that's been standing there for a little under a year, gathering dust and taunting me. Now I've been glued to it. I'm pretty sure my cat hates me for how much time I've been spending in here.

It's easy to get completely wrapped up in this. I'm currently unemployed and so have a lot of time to spend on WA. Yesterday I found myself obsessing in an unpleasant way - today I think I'll let the evening be for leisure and properly hanging out with said cat. (Her name's Callisto.)

I guess I'm so passionate about this because this exact way of working has been a dream of mine for years. I just got so in my own head about the stuff I learned at my old job (internet marketing firm), critiquing every attempt before I even made it. I was dying to find an affordable, easy-to-follow guide like this. Initially I thought I only wanted the training, but I'm coming to see the massive value in the community as well. Seeing people's success is so motivating. It's given me the belief back that I can actually do this. It's possible. I don't have to be a master before I try.

That knowledge is worth its weight in gold to me.
