The path of choosing wisely

The crossroads. Moment by moment we are always faced with the choice. Should I wake up and be productive, or should I continue to slumber and be lazy? We have the capacity to wake up and live consciously, yet we have the inclination to stay asleep. We are always at a crossroad . Always choosing the path to go.

If I choose to wake up then I get things done, and if I choose not to, I get to satisfy my physical body to have had extended rest, and my body will thank me for it.

In our everyday encounters, we can live in a way that will help us develop confidence in our ability to drop our old ways of staying stuck and to choose wisely. When we talk to someone we don’t like and don’t agree with- maybe a family member or a person at work- we tend to spend a great amount of energy sending anger their way. With just a slight shift in perspective, we can realize that people strike out and say mean things for the same reasons that we do. With our sense of humor, we can see how the people around us are driving us crazy the way we drive other people crazy.

But the path of choosing wisely isn’t always a straight line.. there will be detours, stumbles and moments when you question your choices . That ‘s how we learn. That’s how we discover ourselves . That’s how we grow!
