A sad day to remember that in one beautiful, bright day of September morning in 2001, the world stood still unprepared to witness a tragedy unfold before our eyes, as two planes deliberately hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City in succession. The world watched in disbelief as the building crumbles down, watched so many people jumped to their death. it was a sad day for everyone.

Greetings, Maria.

Thanks for creating this post in remembrance of an horrific 9/11 tragedy. One in which we will never forget. Our thoughts go out to the friends and families of all those who lost their lives.

Today, we remember all the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in order to protect our freedom. We also honor the spirit of resilience that has grown in many of us as a result of this tragedy.

Let us use this day as an opportunity to reflect upon our past events, and take action towards different goals for the future.

Thanks to Wealthy Affiliate for giving us this platform to express our emotions and share in remembrance of all those who were affected by the 9/11 tragedy.

With a renewed sense of hope, we can create a better future for our country and its citizens.

Thank you for this reminder!
Rachele

It changed the lives of my family. My brother and his family lived in one of the suburbs of DC. My niece's classmate lost her Daddy in the Pentagon.

Ultimately my brother went back into government service, going to Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan to fight this terror.

We must never forget, and more importantly, never let this happen again.

I was In D.C. When the Pentagon Building had a Plane
crashed into it. My supervisor called me that morning
warning that their office was closing up early and not
to report to work. Downtown D.C. was very Crazy that
day. This day I can't never forget.

I can't remember much of it but we were at home watching this live footage in real time, me and my family. What about you?

Oh wow. That must've been extremely bone chilling to even see it from a distance.
