If a shoe fits.
"If the shoe fits, lace it up!" It's a simple saying, but packed with a powerful message for life's journeys. Think of it this way:
- Opportunity: The shoe: Is there a chance knocking that feels just right? Maybe it's a new job, a creative project, or a daring adventure. If it excites you, if it whispers potential to your soul, try it on!
- Challenge: The fit: Does it push you a little? Does it make your heart thump with a mix of fear and excitement? That's a good sign! Stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to incredible growth.
- Effort: The lacing: Nothing in life comes without a little tying of knots. Be prepared to put in the work, to learn, to adjust. But remember, every lace pull brings you closer to a perfect fit.
- Celebration: The walk: Once you've got your shoes on, step out with confidence! Savor the journey, learn from the stumbles, and celebrate the triumphs. This is your path, own it with joy.
So, whether the shoe is a metaphor for a choice, a challenge, or simply a new pair of comfy kicks, remember: if it fits, lace it up and walk boldly towards your dreams. The world is waiting for your unique stride!

How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?
Stay safe and warm!
Cheers,

Hi Maria
We’re in the teens for temperature today and have about 6 or 8 inches of snow.
We have a tank full of oil, backup electric heat, a big wood stove, and a whole-house standby generator, so I’m not too concerned. Lol 😎
However, the wind toppled a big tree into my neighbor’s house last week, so ANYTHING can happen, no matter how prepared we are!
How about you?
Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸
Similarly, we are being pounded with snow week after week! We are prepared for the winter ~ heating system in all levels, electric, gas, but just been using wood-burning stove for now. We also have a generator, as it’s difficult to live in the mountains when you don’t have this stuff! Hahaha 😆😂 It’s the road that is concerning at times.
But I stay in the hotel across if it gets bad.
Can’t wait for spring 🥶
Be safe!
Cheers,
Maria 🌹
Yeah, the generator is key! If I lose power, there’d be no amplifier to plug my guitar into! I’d have to go acoustic! Yikes! 😬
Stay warm and safe, Maria 😎
Frank 🤘🎸
Yeah, those guitars need protection too! They’re a gem!
I will be so worried if it gets damaged because of the weather, as you will be majorly affected ~ that I am sure!
Keep rockin’🎸😎
Cheers,

Hi Maria
Haha, my guitars are pretty safe from weather issues in my music room and are protected by a 26-zone alarm system with radio backup.
Still, I built a lot of those guitars so they have no blue book insurance replacement value. Gulp! lol 😬
Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸
I wouldn’t expect anything less from you Frankie 🎸😎
I know you love guitars, but I didn’t know you make them! Wow! Very impressive!!!
Maria🌹
Yeah, I did a three year apprenticeship with a luthier, building, repairing, and modding guitars.
I built a copy of dozen of the guitars I currently own.
I have a pretty extensive home guitar workshop, but I don’t have all the tools I need to build acoustic guitars, etc. from scratch.
Each guitar needs seasonal neck adjustments, etc., so it goes along with keeping my guitars in great playing condition. 😎
Frank 🤘🎸
Wow! That’s why you treat each one really special! It’s like you birthed the! 😀
You really rock Frankie 🌹😎
The majority of my guitars I collected over the years and built the rest from about 1990 to now.
Haha, I love them all, Maria, but my wife always comes first! 😎
