Being sedentary affects you negatively!

Imagine your body like a garden. When you move, you're like the sun, watering the seeds of health. Your muscles blossom, your heart beats strong, and your mind dances with energy.

But when you sit for too long, shadows creep in. The sun's warmth fades, and the seeds struggle to grow. Your muscles weaken, your heart's rhythm slows, and your mind becomes cloudy.

Being sedentary is like living in the shade. It dims your inner light and steals your vibrant bloom. But remember, even a small shift can change the whole garden. A quick walk in the sun, (although this is hard to do in a place winter hits harsh- but keep moving anyway) ...where a stretch towards the sky, a playful dance with the breeze – bringing back the vibrant colors of health and joy, uplifts your mood, keep those joints flexing! Let's keep moving!!!

So, step out of the shade, friend. Let your body be the sun, and watch your garden of well-being bloom again!

When you better understand how the human body is constructed and the way it connects to the mind, you will ensure that movement is a regular part of your life.

This is very true, Maria, and for us Writers who are sitting for most of the day, it is important to get movement weaved in somehow.

I tend to sit for about an hour and then get up, walk around, have a glass of water, flex my muscles, or stretch my eyes looking at the horizon.
Anything to get the blood flowing more.

Ahhh, probably- the house plants!
I do have house plants and orchids and insulin plants which is well-taken cared of by me! 😌

With walking and running ~ I do it in my basement- my treadmill keeps me doing that as I can’t take the harsh winter ❄️ 🥶
