How to create youtube intro with canva
Hi Guys,
Thought id share this little bit of info with you.
We are all at different stages of our online journeys, but for those of us who have ventured into content marketing - this is for you!
As for the rest of us, please bookmark this as it may come in handy when you're ready.
So...
This is how I create my youtube intros with the use of canva. This is the pro version which does require a small fee, and although many ofus know that canva has a very good free version, this particular feature (animation) just isnt available on the free plan.
As always i have created a video on this and the link can be found either by clicking here or within the image below
Step 1. access canva pro its 10.99 per month (no contract) and a free 30 day trial is available for anyone who hasnt had it before
Step 2. open a youtube thumbnail template
Step 3. choose from any of the 100's of thumbnail templates (pick one)
Step 4. re-design the template with your brand colours, text, preferred images and other objects such as animated stickers etc (as preferred)
Step 5. Once design complete - head over to download (top right corner) and click on show more then animation (as pic)
Step 6. Click on one of the 6 transitions ( choose the one you pefer)
Step 7. Download as an mp4 directly from canva pro
and Thats It! All you have to do then is use your editor and position the intro whereever you want it to display in your video.
Overline it with effects and or music and wallah!
The Video I created here is a brief walkthrough of the above
Have a great day!
Marie
