Get Your But(t) Out Of the Way!
Get your But(t) Out of the way!
This is a sermon from a well known (yet overlooked) esoteric preacher called Rev Ike.
Although I was already on the path of self reliance and self motivation to succeed in business, I began doubting my ability to truly succeed as my business ideas although viable, we're not yielding a return on investment.
A few years ago, I began trailing the internet for sources of inspiration and came across the exact motivation I needed to Never ever give up on myself!
So here begins my message to you for 2020...
1. Get your but out of the way - don't let your fear of failure or the unknown of success stop you from learning or doing whats necessary to succeed.
2. The lack of money is the root of most evil - don't let the lack of anything especially money stop you from trying. Get a loan, invest in your business until you profit above the monthly repayments
3. Education is free - youtube taught me most of what I now know. Yes I have a great formal education, but true education is life education. Experience new things in new ways, then apply it.
4. Who cares if 'they' said it won't work - They will say many things based on their fear of what they cannot do. Sad part is, they didn't have the guts to try and fail and re-start. So they are not qualified to advise you.
5. Don't rely on others for your Joy - you will always end up short changed and so too will they.
6. Make a goal for your year - a big goal that will only be recognised as faith and hard work over everything once you achieve it
7. Make a plan - the how you will succeed is none of your business, but what you'll implement in order to get you there Is. Make a plan, implement, repeat.
8. Take action - every day. Even if that day includes rest, do so. Some of my best work has been created during rest. On the other days, just do.
9. Bring someone along with you - don't keep your success formula to yourself. Share it and watch as others bask in the glory of their own success. No fear, there's enough to go around (believe in abundance) and 'teach a man to fish'.
10. When doubt creeps in remember why you started and 'get your but out of the way.'
Happy Holidays & a Prosperous New Year
