Need Rubber?

Sometimes we ALL get tired! All successful people who work tirelessly to get where they are...unless they inherited their fortune. If it is inherited, they have to work to keep it. This is what if have found to be true amongst my wealthy friends.

Trust me, EVERYONE has moments when they are exhausted. I'm sure you know what I mean. It's those days when you feel like you're a tire that has lost too much tread and if you keep rolling around you're going to burst and go FLAT!

Well, don't feel like the lone tire rolling on the road, trying to push your vehicle forward. We ALL have those days and moments. I believe in the saying, "The race is not won by the swift, but to the one who endures to the end" (I paraphrase). There is a direct correlation to it in Ecclesiastes 9:11 that my Mother used to quote when I would get frustrated about not progressing fast enough.

Here is what she suggested I do when I felt like my tire's tread was worn low:

• Drink plenty of water because hydration is important to the brain for clear thinking
• Get a good night's sleep away from any light and sound
• Stretch my body so my muscles aren't too tight for my energy to flow
• Eat light and healthy or Fast for a day
• Stay POSITIVE! Look around for things to be grateful for.

This advice has helped me patch up the gaps in my energy... the holes in my tire. It helped me add more rubber so I can get back in the race. These tidbits also helped me convert those tired days into moments instead of weeks.

Be honest...when you saw the headline, you were thinking something else, huh? :)
