Can I get a Light?

I heard Lisa Nichols make a statement in a number of her videos about shining her light.

I let my light sit under a rock for so long that it became common place. It was never truly COMFORTABLE but the uncomfortable moments came and nudged me every once in a while. I thought, "This is not comfortable under this rock but it's easier". So, 'easier' became commonplace.

It was easier to not be seen and peak out now and then than it was to be seen and criticized for my light shining bright.

Well, I learned... criticism is under, on top of and on the sides of the rock!

So, I decided to follow Lisa's lead. If I'm going to be criticized, it might as well be for being who I truly am. It is not my job to make EVERYONE happy or make EVERYONE like me.

I have now taken on the job of ME liking me. To paraphrase Lisa's words, "I'm letting my light shine and everybody who can't handle it... better get a pair of shades".

I won't say it's comfortable at first but it is definitely LIBERATING!

Get out from under that rock and share your light. Shine Baby Shine! This world needs all of us! There is too much Dark Fake-ness trying to take over.
