Are You An Angry Blogger

You probably are wondering what in the world my title means and whom exactly am I speaking to?

Well, over the weekend, we were driving a bit going to family and doing errands, and each time we were out, there were people speeding, tailgating, passing, cutting off other drivers, giving us the finger (with our baby in the car!), and swerving in and out of lanes to try to save themselves that all important 1-2 minutes of driving time.

Just think about that. Even on the weekend, they go through all that trouble, risk hundreds of lives on the road including their own, raising their blood pressure and others, getting angry and so forth...

Just so they can save 1 minute of time.

That's why I have to ask...

Are you an angry blogger? Are you speeding around, trying to find shortcuts and quick ways, using article spinners rather than spending time on your writing, and ignoring the steps you should take, ignoring comments or giving them curt nothing responses, not commenting on other blogs or reaching out to your fellow bloggers and niche influencers, just to rush to your goal?

It's not worth it.

Take your time. Do it right.

It will pay off. And you'll be a healthier person for it.

Let me know if you agree!

<3 Maria

Cool ;)

Thanks for sharing Maria, yes, it's weird how sometimes the most docile person can lose it in everyday traffic? Many years ago an elderly gentleman who was my passenger very calmly said to me ( I was young and driving a very powerful, sporty car) ........"Someone more than a thousand years ago engraved the following words into a rock - it is better to wait a moment in life than to lose your life in a moment"! Take care

GREAT quote - love it! Very relevant. people hide behind their cars and become insane.

Great post Maria. Angry, yes we certainly do see a lot of angry people nowadays. It's unfortunate that so many calm, decent people go down during the process.
Have an Excellent Day !!

I guess those keep calm posters are more relevant than we thought! :) Thanks you have a nice day as well.

My mother-in-law always says "They haven't got a minute to live" when she sees that kind of behavior!

1

lol good saying. everyone's in a big hurry to get into another big hurry :)

Thanks Maria, I love reading your posts as they are always so insightful. Very good reminder, I think I'll post a picture of the quote above my desk so when I think I'm going too slow I won't feel so guilty. LOL All the best! ~Gaylon

It's hard to keep steady with the process sometimes we want to speed ahead and get to some kind of finish line - but there's never really a finish line.

1

I know that's right!

Of course I agree and I will say this the power of attraction works 2 ways you either attract negative or you attract positive it is up to you to decide which it will be all the best Max

1

definitely - it's easy to be negative, especially when things are down or seeming to not go anywhere - it takes a few extra thoughts to stay positive and stay the course.

I definitely agree Maria, thanks for sharing!

1

awesome - i write this stuff to remind myself as well :)

1

I totally agree with you Maria!
And speaking of bad drivers: I've noticed that people are more willing to risk their life ( like with fast/bad driving) than risk their money ( like making investments and self-improvement).

1

ha probably true - people feel false safety in their cars. whereas they are much more able to imagine the effects of going broke.

LOL Hi Maria... Great post.... I shamefully have to confess that I tend to be both... angry driver and... BLOGGER... Slowing down doesn't come easy for me... but a least I'm conscious of it. And when I catch myself doing it, I slow down and breath.

I'm not using article spinners or stuff like that... but I would like to have everything done by the weekend... which is impossible.

If I could write 20 articles in a week I would do it... that's how crazy I can get... So yes... I need to breath and slow down and do something else once in a while just to break the routine and give myself a break!

Have a nice one!

2

I know what you mean - I have to tell myself to give it time too. It's a journey that requires some breathing time. I appreciate your compliments, but more importantly I just hope it's a good reminder not to get ourselves in worse trouble, spending on quick schemes, and fly by night products.
