Why are you bothering to build a website and create an online income stream?

I know we all set our goals in the very beginning, but there are still people that hit their first road block and then drop out entirely. Or maybe it's the second challenge. or the third.

Who are the ones who succeed?

The ones who persevere and stick with it.

So what is your REAL "why"?

Usually it starts out as "I want to replace my income". But dig deeper. Why?

Maybe so I don't have to do the daily corporate grind. Ok. Why?

I want the freedom to do what I want when I want and to not have to worry financially about the unexpected. Why?

I want to be able to focus on growing as a person in ways that I don't currently have enough time or money for. Why?

I want to show my (future) children that they can take charge of their lives and truly create their visions. And I want to leave a lasting legacy of freedom and wealth for future generations.

Everyone's why is going to be unique and slightly different. Keep asking yourself "why" over and over again until you dig deep to the root of what makes you act.

Once you know the real root of what drove you here in the first place, then it will be much easier to stay motivated enough to keep going. And when you stick with it, you will succeed.

So what is YOUR "why"?

Not only should you ask yourself "why" but also "HOW".

How do you want to help people?
How are you going to make your goals of having an online business achivable?
How are you going to make time for this?
How are you going to keep pushing forward every time you hit road blocks?
How are you going to stay above your competition?

This is a really great post Kiersten, and something that every person getting into this business should consider before they think that it's going to easy street to fast cash. There's a lot of work that's involved here and it's important to remember what your goals are and purpose of getting started in the first place.

I recently asked a few Mums and Dads if they had time on their hands what would they love to do? I was not surprised to hear all of them say, that they wanted to write blogs about their interest and share it with other mums and Dads.

When I told them about WA and showed them my website, their response was .. " You actually did this ? Yes! I said and if I can do it you can do it as well." Whether they will take action is another story.

I signed up with WA to learn website skills then designed the niche for Dads who need help. I love it because it has provided an invaluable service to new Dads. I did a google analytic search recently and found that young fathers between the age of 25 - 35 spent the most time on my site.

I have not had any paid conversions yet but am I thrilled that more Dads and even Mums are looking at my site and giving me a thumbs up for the blogs relevant to family life.
