Working Towards Success

I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since December, and it has been a winding road. I started out fast and furious to find out that the niche I picked just didn't fit me the way I thought it would. So I had to start over. So frustrating! Time to start over. I started over again with a new niche and a new website layout. Back to square one. This time, I like my niche SO much better. It fits me, the real me. Success is on its way!

The Perfect Niche

For my niche, I chose health. Perfect fit. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years. On top of that, I have my own health problems that I have been researching. Why not pick a subject matter that I already know about and am already researching?! Now why didn't I pick something like that the first time? It would have made life a lot easier right from the start.

Success - Here I Come!

I'm busy, always. It's just who I am. Let's see what you think. Husband, 3 kids, work 40 - 50 hours a week, personal studies, volunteer work with a local kids club 4 - 20 hours a month, multiple side hustles ... It just keeps going and going. Oh yeah, my puppy thinks he needs to follow me and jump all over me every time I think about sitting down. Does that count? Let's just say that if I'm sitting then I'm working on something. If I'm not busy then I don't feel productive. It's just me

Where does my website fit into my life? Weekends when I'm not running all over town being a cab driver to my kids, nights after my family is in bed, and when I'm sitting and waiting for something to happen. A couple weeks ago while sitting and waiting for my doctor to actually give a crap about his schedule, I pull my notebook out my purse and start writing a rough draft post. Gotta make time and do what I can when I can.

I get to work a little here and there. I look at it as at least I'm doing something. Could I spend more time in order to make more posts and work harder? Probably. As long as I keep working, keep being productive, the success will come. It may be slower than others that work for an hour or two daily, but I am confident that it will come.

Persistence - The Key to Hitting Goals

Keep working. Keep thinking. Keep Doing. Keep Moving. The four short rules of my life help me reach my goals. What's my goal within Wealthy Affiliate? My goal is to start making money, to start helping people, to start making something of myself. Will I make enough to quit my job? Not anytime soon. I am okay with that. Will I make enough to get a cafe latte and a tank of gas? Yep. Will I make enough to pay the light bill or splurge and get an extra $100 in groceries? Yep. To keep working, thinking, doing, and moving will help me to reach my goals. Persistence. Don't stop. I am confident it will happen.
