Site Comments
This may strike a chord with many WA'ers but I have a question if I may?
The gain comment credits section is all well and good but my question is, do we get our credits back if we think the comment made is not the desired quality for our site?
I'm not trying to put the commenters down, but sometimes I do not get the required response, hence the question.

Thank you all for your prompt responses. I just didn't want to offend anyone if I didn't approve their comment. I like to comment on others pages/posts as I get link juice but I would rather I get what is advertised, if you know what I mean? I will not approve some comments and see if I get another.

I don't believe so, although I haven't actually tried it. The commenters can be fantastic, but yes, if you are looking for a specific type of comment, then you might not always get it.
I decided to use a comment platform with my site because of some of the features that it has. Because of that, any comments made through WA's comment feature won't show up on my site. That's a pain, because I have got some pretty good ones through there.
I'll have a look at your site and leave a comment directly if you can give me an idea of what you are looking for.
It is not a problem really, except I need to know the mechanics of how the WA comment credit platform works. I have had some very good and positive responses so will follow those up. Thank you for your input - Martyn
I always get another comment when I disapprove one. So I think what happens is they put your site back into the system after you have disapproved a comment.
I have disapproved a couple and not got the credits back yet! I wonder if it takes a while to update. Fingers crossed
I only put one request out through the system (using credits), and I am still getting comments through the system, even weeks later. So, I don't think the relationship is as simple as a credit for a comment.

Ok folks, I think, as TanjaRita has stated, I understand now. It may take a day or so but your credits are not wasted as I am now receiving more comments to compensate, with zero credits.
I hope this clarifies things - it seems we are put into a moderation queue and then back into the system - I may be wrong but I like to have an answer to things to satisfy my needs :)
I always get bonus comments here and there. I hadn't asked for comments in over a week and got 2 comments during that week.
