Cookie Law
Ok, so many of you have seen all the little pop-ups that are appearing now relating to cookies eg: This Site Uses Cookies.
This seems to be law in the EU and, as I hadn't come across this in the training, I thought I would look into it and yes, you do need to have it if your site can be viewed in Europe. Labman made a great post here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/labman/blog/compli...
I am now using a simple plugin called UK Cookie Consent which is free and doesn't need setting up, although if you want to change colours, text etc, there are some options to be found in the WordPress Dashboard under Settings - Cookie Consent.
I hope this helps some people?
All the best as always - Martyn

Basically it is more bureaucracy by the Eurocrats, but if your site, wherever it resides, sells or is viewed in the European Union, it must comply with EU regulations, including EU Cookie Law.
I live in Vilnius Lithuania which is just a few kilometers fro the geographical center of EU and I have never heard of this before
I am from the EU and though it's true this comes up a lot I was not aware this was a law here and not something general everywhere. I never thought about using a cookie consent plugin but but good to know, thank you for sharing :)
