Onwards and Upwards - Progress So Far

Well, it has been 2 months since I joined WA and a month since becoming premium. I must confess that I did struggle initially with choosing a theme, which I know I am not alone in. I opted for the Genesis framework with the child theme Outreach Pro (which is a purchased theme). I chose this because looking at other people's sites and seeing how good they were, I wondered how I could get the same sort of style? A search on Google minutes later and I came across this site - http://www.wpthemedetector.com/ - which allows you to type in the URL of a website to detect the theme and plugins used. Of course, this only works if the site has been developed on Wordpress.

I was going great guns until about a week or so ago when my epilepsy meds were changed. I went from active to zombie in a day and have now started to regain some momentum, thankfully being able to avoid fans of The Walking Dead who would undoubtedly put me out of my misery.

My website niche is to do with cots, cotbeds and accessories, with information about safety etc. To monetise I will be doing Amazon Affliliates with reviews on many of the beds and accessories.

One thing I have learned to do is make lists of things to do, and an order for doing things, how I have adapted theme settings etc., so that I know how to do it the next time. This I highly recommend to everyone, especially if you have memory difficulties like me.
