My progress so far!
Hello to everyone at WA,
I hope you're all having success in building their sites. I'm just about done with Level 2 of the training. Development on the site is incremental, which is good. Not too much too soon.
Much of what's on level 1 and 2 I've heard before. I'm probably a level 3 coming in. I know about making posts and writing articles. I've written articles on other websites, and I've made my share of websites myself. As for doing it in a way that gets any ranking on Google, that's another story! lol
I can't wait to see what's coming next on Level 3. I think that's going to be where I get to sink my teeth into the trainings.
I've tried affiliate marketting in 2011, but I did it all on my own and sometimes it took me a week to do some very simple things. WA speeds development from what I see so far. Having specialists and a community available for support is an immense benefit.
I'm still confused about getting myself ranked on Google, though. I think that went over my head. I don't know if I did it already. I don't know how to check. Maybe I missed something with that? I have to go back and review that section.
Overall, I'm still excited about what's coming next. It's going to get into really deep waters. Right now, I'm not concerned about being amazing at developing sites. I'm trying to learn how to walk then run. I want to know what I'm doing and know my way around a site and how to check the SEO and what is what.
For you gamers out there, I'd like to think of it as when you get a new game, like say, "Mario". The first thing you do, is you mess around with the controls. You press button A, then B up, down, left, right on the direction pad. You see what the buttons do in combination... Check the response time on moving back and forth. How he runs and jumps. All this is like in about 20 seconds or so, then I start playing the game. I feel like this is where I'm at still. The fun stuff is coming, I know.
So far, I'm digging the site. I'm going to finish level 3 ASAP, and get back to you guys! I am going to try my best to sign up for the annual! I'm really strapped right now though, thanks Corona! :/

That's amazing progress!
Exactly like a game, one step at a time before going the next. Half of the time I have no clue what I'm doing and have to repeat watching training video and implementing it.

You're doing GREAT, Duran! Keep messing around with those "controls" until you're entirely comfortable--there is no time table here--it's work at your OWN pace!
