To AI or Not to AI - The Do or Die Question

As an online business creator, how many hats do you need to wear? Are you a master of all of the marketing channels available to you? I am not. I do not have enough time in a day to know all of the secrets of LinkedIn, Meta, and Google. I use AI for the grunt work of researching these platforms and keep myself up on the latest trends and information.

If you are able to master one of these channels, can you create a complete marketing campaign? Do you know what to post on the media channels, and the order of each step to maximize the impact? I have been in sales and marketing for over 30 years. I still fumble with the marketing staging.

I am creative, but not always organized. Creating great images and ideas is my strong suit. But to put them into a comprehensive order? Not my forte. AI keeps me on schedule as best it can. I still create my own mischief and distractions. Without AI, do I remember where I left off? Not always.

AI Fills in the Gaps

I use it to fill in the gaps in the knowledge that I have. I learn quickly. I create personal "lesson plans" to understand new tools as they become available. Manus AI was one of the tools that I started using. It increased my production time big time. I had 50 reports to write. On my own, that was one day minimum for each. Call it two months. By the 50th report, I had my process down to 40 minutes.

I now have 450 reports to create! 18 Months the old way. With AI, 38 days. All edited with my voice, my spin, and more consistent than I could have done on my own. Ambitious, I know. But when you are creating a One-Man One-Million-Dollar empire, it pays to be ambitious.

Reality Check

I am in my mid 60s. I forget things just as easily. I created a book cover for my 4th Book. When I was satisfied with the cover, I went to bed. I get up four hours later and can't find the book cover in any of the usual folders. My AI assistant saved me and told me exactly where I saved the file. Hours of looking and a possible redo averted.

AI = Ideas

We are living in the Age of AI. Or as I prefer to say, the Age of Ideas. Things you only dream about doing are now well within your grasp. I have three life-changing tasks I am juggling. None is related to the other. Without AI, these would remain pipe dreams. With AI, I have

• A book about staying true to yourself while using AI, nearing completion.
• A patent pending on a handy gadget that my late father dreamed of fifty years ago
• A technological fix to the world's voting systems is in phase one.

Would I have been able to accomplish any of this without AI? Not in my lifetime. But in the next 2~3 years, all of these things will have come to pass.

This goes back to why I always say,

AI Will Not Replace You... Those Who Master AI Will

Be the master.
