Difficulty Joining Social Media Again

On one of the trainings it told me to sign up for social media but I am trying to stay away from social media for personal purposes. Any advice for completing this? I do not want to multitask and focus on creating my blog first.

you could first concentrate on your blog. Focus is important you are right. I don't have social media as of the moment. It's a big distraction sometimes!
Social media is a great way to find more people and put them onto your site. It is very hard to look at everything everyday but having an account to check is so often then ramp it up when your site is farther along. I hope this helped you and good luck on your site.
