A new bebinning!
Hello everyone! My first WA blog so please bear with me. Progress for me has been slow, much slower than I have wished, but I have been persistent.. I haven't given up, nor do I plan to. This will work for me, I am tired of trying and failing at things. I will be successful at WA and in many ways I have been successful.
The niche I chose was pretty easy. My family and I were at a crossroads on our television entertainment in our home. We had Dish network for 20 years and enjoyed Dish until my wife told me she wanted to cancel it because of the price. I thought we were spending in the neighborhood of $80 or $90 a month on Dish. I was shocked when my wife told me it was $130 per month.
I asked for and got a Roku for Christmas a couple of years ago. Exploring Roku really opened a whole new world to me. I discovered a lot of new ways to entertain over the TV. I didn't necessarily need Dish Network anymore. But I still wanted a lot of the same channels I had with Dish.
I discovered Playstation Vue, and just streaming TV in general. With Playstation Vue I got a lot of the channels I had with dish and by supplementing with netflix, Prime, etc. I no longer needed Dish Network, bye Dish.
Then I discovered Wealthy Affiliate. Hum, I think I have something here. I was quite passionate about streaming TV, why not tell everyone about it, and get paid for it, wow! How could I go wrong.
Well I have posted five stories to my website and really have started to get on a bit of a roll in the last couple of months, so much so that I am starting to believe that I can do this full time, no problem. I will be going back to the lesson about working my butt off many times for inspiration and continued success.
I have so many ideas for other websites, I am ready to dive in and go. I want to quit my paper route which has been my crutch, but lately it hasn't been much support. It has been more and more or THE PROBLEM for me and I have to drop it and get behind WA 100%. So away we go. Wish me luck!

Hey Mark, great to hear you're moving forward. Hope all is well. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Sounds like a really interesting niche as well. Our cable bill here is over $200 month (including internet) and I've mentioned just using streaming services but not sure we're ready for that leap, lol.
All the best,
Jay
