Work Smarter Not Harder -First 5 Weeks @ WA
In a few more days I will have been at WA for 5 weeks.
Here is some things I have accomplished and I hope this can be of some motivation to some because it has literally blown my mind what I have accomplished in such a short amount of time.
If you had told me I would have been this far ahead in a month I would have laughed.
I want to point out that I am not an IT person, I wouldn't call myself a computer minded individual and although I love to write, creating and monetizing a website has everything to do with learning and little to do with talent/skill.
Mind you it is very possible to be great and not enjoy what your doing so striking that balance should also be important :)
WA achievements:
1. I started somewhere in the member rank around the 270,000 mark and now I am 10,401. My creater rank is 370. Which means I am 130 spaces from getting a top 200 badge which is pretty exciting after 5 weeks :)
2. I have 9 comments to go before I get a certified commenter status.
3. " 26,829 Your all-time words written And more than 95% of WA Members this month " (this is from the content section in WA.) This doesn't include the 20-30 hand written pages I have for my research etc
4. This will be my 3rd personal blog post.
5. I have Phase 3 through to Phase 7 of the Affiliate Bootcamp training to complete and then onto anything else I can find on WA and beyond.
6. I learnt very quickly that almost every question you have can be answered clearly by someone or some sort of training through WA. I think having confidence in your guides as WA is for me is extremely important and for me securing my beliefs in this platform is an achievement.
Website achievements:
1. Google indexing took about a week and that was around 3 weeks ago.
2. I have averaged 1500 words on each post and I have published 12 posts and 9 pages.
3. Yesterday I was accepted into google adsense and in the 24 hours since I have had 21 impressions and I am pretty happy with that.
4. I have been an amazon associate member for around 3 weeks and I have had 73 clicks on my amazon links. No sales yet but the confidence in me is building.
5. I have around 180 comments on my website and this doesn't include my replies (thank you WA members)
6. Google search console has 3 clicks + 25 impressions with a 12% click rate. Early days but I am happy with that :)
All this and my site still has 0 trust. It is a time thing, I am not concerned. I am just surprised with how far I have come.
A couple of tips that I used to get me this far :)
1. I didn't give up. I didn't decide I would do it tomorrow or learn it tomorrow. I forced myself to learn how to do it and I did it right away. Not
delaying finding solutions has been pivitol.2. I never thought any question I asked anyone else or myself was dumb. I accepted what I didn't know and accepted quickly that other people had answers when I didn't so I used that!
3. I want to help people & that is what helps me deal with writers block when it comes on. I want to help people find solutions and or perspectives that I couldn't find when I went looking for them. The easiest way for me to help someone is to speak from a place of genuine want to help someone and as I am very detail orriented person I try and ask myself every question I think someone would ask in my chosen niche.
Thank you for reading, to your success, to our success :) Have a brilliant day :)
