If Google Slaps My A$%e Should I Kiss Theirs?
On Sunday night I was really pleased with my work, actually had one post to no 1 for its keyword only ten minutes after posting it! Come Monday morning nothing, nada, zilch. Not even ranking in quoted search. The Google slap had stung like hell.
Brief moment of panic, but then I remembered what others had said in the past and decided to keep at it. Pretty sure that there was nothing intrinsically wrong with the site and all I needed to do was to add more to it and all would be well.
I added another page and post and have a lot more in the pipeline so what has happened since Monday.
Glad to say that all is back to normal. Back to page one for those pages and after a big phew I will carry on building.
I did do quite a bit of research however during that time and will pass on what I have found out shortly.
Did I have to suck up to Google? No, but i did make doubly sure tht I was not offending them either.
Boy is it good to be back though!

I haven't noticed any of my rankings change as of yet... I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Glad your site bounced back!
It was only my WA site that was hit. Just as I was putting a lot more work into it too. My busiest site (which makes no money) was untouched.
