Blog Post 1.first ever.
Well, this is the first blog post I have ever made. Looks like I will need to get used to it. I am slowly working on building my website but am still struggling with my niche. Tried to get my big kids involved but still no great ideas. I think...I am overthinking. I am going to just take some down time, pray, do mindless activity and hope a bright thought will pop into my mind. Stay-tuned.....

Hi Monica, it can be overwhelming when we try and settle on that first niche, there are so many things spinning around in our heads.
We think so hard that we end up overthinking it, one of the things to realize that it is just a beginning, what is also important is creating the website and learning how to best create content for that site, so it is an overall process and one that once we master it we can use that knowledge as a springboard and as Kyle says your first niche may not be your last.
It is not an end of the world decision, we just need to feel comfortable with that decision and then roll with it you may find that you change direction as you move along, the thing is that it is our journey and we get to set the rules.
Reading your bio you want to create a sustainable online income, so to do that you need to sell or promote something, if you stop and think an about it there are probably heaps of stuff in your life right now that you buy or would consider selling that can be a keyway into a niche, from there it is just a matter of creating content around that and that is where we can begin.
It especially works if you are looking at a problem and creating a solution for that problem.
For example, currently, we have a business that uses battery powered tools and it is such a headache getting quality tools that do the job, it is an ideal niche to explore, there is a market/audience there for the products that are available and more importantly, there are affiliate programs for the products being promoted. We know the market and have researched their needs.
So it fills some criteria.
Overall, we need to feel comfortable with what we are doing and the choices we make.
I am sure it will all fall into place for you just roll with it, even just start out and change, as you get your bearings and start creating you may find that the golden niche for you will just appear.

That is good Monica, once we get into it the ideas will come, the main thing is to learn the process and that is what the training here in WA is all about, we don't have to reinvent the wheel because the wheel works very well.
In the beginning, we just need to follow along, and everything will fall into place, keep us updated on your progress.
