Scary Experience At The Beach

I had a very scary moment swimming at the beach last day before going back to work and children to school. My mom was watching my boys while I was taking a mommy "me" moment. I was enjoying the waves and rollers. Each time I went over a roller , I was carried out a bit that a Riptide caught me. I was so scared as I tried to swim straight back but pulled me more. I then looked at the lifeguard and I then said to myself, " I can do this!" I swam horizontally with waves and finally, "I saved myself!" . I was so out of breathe and frightened after this experience. I did watch my boys carefully so they wouldn't get caught. I was so worn out from that experience the next day. It will be awhile and not till next year to go back....
