Hard times:part 1
My husband has changed a lot since 2 years ago. He started this job which brought him away from family 3 or 4 hours away. This was a struggle for me because I worked full-time with two little boys. I drove and pickup up the boys before and after school with a full-time job. On the side of my job, I had to deal with arguments and the boys wanted daddy to be home. After two years, My husband had to stay in hotels because it was hard to travel back home and back to work location. He would come home and be in a bad mood and it was upsetting the boys and I. During the week, I would do my best during the weeks to keep the boys happy and meanwhile they developed ODD ( oppositional defiance disorder). The hardest thing was to separate the boys from fighting physically and emotionally. I would break them up but then they would turn on me with sharp nails on their fingers.
My husband changed jobs to be closer and things are a bit better but still working with them and therapy. If I could turn back time, I would have my husband stay home and no traveling far for that length of time.
