Progress Series PT. 1
Welcome...
To the first in an installment of what I'll be calling my "Progress Series"
If you've been following me on WA or happened to read my last post...
You'd know that I am fairly new to online business, and my niche is in Fitness & health.
A rather large niche.
Some things I've learned:
- Success is not overnight
- This can be overwhelming
- Practice makes perfect
- Repetition is key to success (i.e consistency)
Here are some of the goals I set for myself:
- Establish a larger following
- Share better/more content
- Put up a facebook/twitter page (for my website: http://modernmuscle.us.com)

The problems I ran into were getting overwhelmed with looking at other peoples' websites and their layouts/plugins & widgets...and trying to adopt similar looks/themes.
I also ran into the problem of being a bit discouraged when my facebook/twitter weren't flooded by followers....It has only been a few days though so patience is key here.
What's Next?
My new goals are:
- Take a step back, focus on content
- Learn more at WA, going back through courses
- Network more on WA and try to bring our networks from here to the Social media outlets (We can support each other in the beginning phases by sharing each others content & providing feedback)
- Understand social media marketing better

I think I'm in about the same boat as you. I first started my website a little over a week ago, and currently, I've got around 7 or 8 articles so far, and have written 3 articles on street articles. I've currently been focused on just writing more posts and articles, as well as making sure to socially bookmark my pages.
Your idea of making Facebook/Twitter pages is good. I think I may make a Facebook page, although I don't want to become too overwhelmed.

I checked out your website and it looks solid. A good amount of well thought out articles. As far as social sites...yeah I would say that after experiencing it...the best way to go forward is to wait on those, and just focus on your website for a time first.
