Have you ever wondered why it takes ages to construct a building? Noticed how it takes time for the workers to dig the soil and actually start putting a structure?
It's because they are laying the foundation. A strong foundation! They create a trench in the ground and keep on digging deeper until they reached the subsoil which is more solid than the topsoil. Once the trench is deep enough, they put any strong or hard material they can find, pour in some concrete and let it dry.
If you want to build a tall building, your foundation should be strong in order for it to stand a long time.
It's almost the same with building an online business. You have to make sure you have a solid foundation if you want to create a long term success.
