How Much Can Happen in a Week?
While I didn't hit all of my deadlines this week, I did get the majority of the tasks I set forth for myself completed. Overall, I'm super happy with how things are going.
- I was able to write two new articles, one on apps for journaling and another including 60 prompts for self-discovery and personal growth
- I created 8 more journaling prompts for my Instagram channel and scheduled them
- I wrote 3 posts, including my About Angie page, a post on the basics of affiliate marketing, and a fantastic post (at least I think so) on why branding is important for affiliate marketers
- Put together a Favorite Resources page with affiliate links to my favorite tools
- Completed the site design
- The site was indexed by Google
Both
- Moved both email lists over to ConvertKit from Aweber
Some tasks for next week include developing lead magnets for both sites to get people on my email list, completing the setup of ConvertKit, and writing more content for both sites.
On a personal note, I found out last week that I'll be having a major surgery soon.
During the last week of April, I ended up in the hospital with anemia. During the procedure that happened then, precancerous cells were found. I'll find out on the 18th when this will take place. I've already told work I'm going to be out for at least a week.
My question for you guys is ... when you suspect you're going to be away for a while, do you schedule posts or just take a breather? I can see the benefits of both.
