My rank number has been 2278 for several days now. When I went back to my blog page across my picture says 1843.
It takes a while for everything to get updated, that's why you can see to different numbers.

Hi. It means that you have been more active with the community and your rank is actually rising. :) This is how WA ranking works. The more questions you ask, the more you help people, etc., the higher your rank.

It just takes awhile for the number at the top right of your WA screen to catch up with whatever number you have elsewhere...No big deal, just keep doing what you are doing and it will all work out!
Incidentally this really is an indicator of your level of activity within the WA community, and likely will rise and fall if you are like me and have other businesses/activities that take you away from the site for any reason.
I would worry more about getting up and running with the web sites and such so you can be set to earn some affiliate commissions!
