My progress as a turtle

This is my favourite chopstick box of rosewood with some lovely engraved turtles. These little guys seem so relevant when i think about my progress here, at WA. I am sure if we have to run a race with them they would swish past me at an incredible - or so it would seem to me - speed! :-)) I am very slooooow in my studies ;and site development, but being a stubborn, meticulous and patient taurean i actually like it that way. I go through lesson slow, but steady, do all the required tasks before moving to the next one and do not peek into future lessons. After few months here i just completed level 2, developing mostly one of my websites ( explorersydney.com) and do not make any money out of it yet.
I know i can jump ahead and use some of the excellent tips and training here, but because it has not come up in my lessons yet, i am restraining myself. Why? I need to be stable in what i know and wish my website to be to at least some minimum standard before i start monetizing it. That will come, in its due time. I have no doubt that i will be quite successful with my business and am here for the long run.

Creating this site on travel and bush walking requires the devotion of my every weekend to actually go somewhere and leave the computer, then do some research on the places i visited, work on the photos i have taken and may be even do a drawing/painting of an animal i sighted. That on top of full time work and additional courses ( work related). Ah, and not to forget The Gym! :-) But i like it that way! Feel to me well-rounded and gives me balance and stability, but also requires army discipline and hard work.
I do have a goal within a year to be able to generate enough income to replace my current job and hopefully to continue with my online business on a more full time basis. I will always be the person with one million hobbies and interests and my intent is as i get more proficient and efficient with the websites to add some more.
For now - "Heeey, turtles, wait for meee! I am running behind you as fast as i can!"
