Images of Sydney

Last Update: July 09, 2015

Hi everyone, i have been enjoying my amateur photography for years. i have always used my smart phone and the quality of the photos seemed to be sufficient for my purposes. I was delighted when a year ago a photography exhibition opened in Sydney with picks taken entirely from smart phones! I loved the idea!

However, now that i am considering my photos to be used on the website i am still building ( on bush walking and activities to do in Sydney) i wander if my photos are of good enough quality. I will very appreciate some feedback :-)

Here are few examples:

Love your photography. Very accomplished. I am quite familiar with your coastline, bridge and Opera House. I lived in Canberra for 30 years, and visited Sydney often. I am sure that you will use your talent to advantage. ps your site looks great. I have bookmarked it. Yowie with a beer could find a place in it. Larry

Milena - most of the peaks of the Wasatch Front to the east are higher than Koscuisko (8.900) up to about 15,000 feet. I carry binoculars as well as camera everywhere I go. Larry

Beautiful pics, Milena. I love Australia. I visited there years ago and it really was 'fair dinkum.' I want to go back so bad, but I like flying the least. ;-)

With your background, you have many choices of niches to select from. Health is a 'big' issue here in the US. It's shocking how many people I see who are extremely overweight and in bad condition (candidates for the 'betes') Scary.

You obviously know how to keep fit, and you will surely have some successful campaign launches. I look forward to seeing you develop them.

Joy, Confidence and Freedom to you. J

Thank you Johann for the kind and encouraging words! Its great to hear you had such a good time in Australia. Ifs a good point that i have many interests and possible niches -i have enough hobbies to open a hobby store and definitely will expamd there in the furure, esp with anything health related,.
With this site explorersydney.com just beginning, but may also organise and lead groups in the future. I have done it already few times for people from work. It gives me great joy to be able to share with others my walks and even take them.
Cheers!☺

Those are definitely good enough, they in fact are excellent. One thing I have never been afraid to do is take pictures of things and use them on my website.

If I need a picture for a product review, I go find that product at the local store and take a picture of it. I need a picture of an ocean, I go down take a picture. :)

Thank you Kyle! Yes, i agree - nothing beats the value of our own photos and this also gives a personal touch to the website, makes it more unique. Well, i do take about 50 photos in a day in order to choose 5, lol!

I think the resolution is fine - they are clear, not pixelated and a lot better than some photos I've seen on websites!
