Paradigm shift and being stuck in "niche choosing"

I had a niche in mind before i joined the Wealthy Affiliate. The difficulty was that i could not narrow it down and was really struggling for quite some time. Oh, i was so attached to that particular idea i would not let it go. I was searching and searching.... until one day I woke up and had something totally different in mind - a hobby of mine that suddenly felt "just right" to start with. It was a paradigm shift! A new reality that was there all along i was just too obsessed with the old one to actually notice! A new set of glasses now presented to me an opportunity which my old set completely bypassed.

Our established views of what is and what isn't can permit us to function in the world along certain internal guidelines and set of rules "what my reality is", but can also restrict our vision of what can be out there under our noses, staring us in the face. If we allow ourselves to let go and venture into the "anomaly" that suddenly appears and is stubbornly refusing to fit into the old paradigm, we can step beyond the previous horizon and discover that the Universe we have been living in is some "other Universe".

What was invisible and obscured before now seems to be everywhere and the new reality seems to be filled with evidence for the new paradigm! How come i did not see it before?! "But i looked here many times!" My life has not changed, my room still looks the same - but things have popped up where before was an empty space!

If anyone out there is stuck with the niche don't be afraid to explore - we are multifaceted beings: there is more to us that meets the eye (especially our own eye)! You never know your new niche might be staring you in the face, just waiting for that tiny shift in perception of your own life. :-)
