I absolutely love this company! The fact that a Physical Education Teacher/Coach born in the 70's and not very computer savvy just made his own website says it all. Wealthy Affiliate spoon feeds you the process for success step by step. When you get stuck there's always someone on live chat willing to answer your questions.

I'm still t training and tweaking my site but I'm very proud of the improvement. I plan on making my first youtube video about my site within in the next two weeks. I'll begin work on my second site in a few weeks and hope to have a 3rd site completed before September.

If I could give advice to someone who is brand new to Wealthy Affiliate, it would be to be patient. It's difficult for me to stop looking ahead, but I know my success will come. I have no doubt in my mind that it will happen eventually. Just follow Wealthy affiliate's training and you will please Google. Than Google will please you. Go back to re-read and watch training videos over multiple times if neccesary.

Best of luck to everyone! I'd love to hear from anyone with questions, comments or advice?

I would look at the video again but take notes so you have something to refer back to but if you need any help just ask.

So I checked out your site and it's great! You have great content and lots of it. My only critique is where are your affiliate links to make you money? That's the whole point of making our websites is to have them generate income. You should be including affiliate links within your content that takes them to the product that your talking about in your content so they can buy it and you make money on the sale. Of course, dont forget to apply to the company's affiliate program first so that you can get the links. For instance, Amazon's affiliate program. I noticed you had content that included Amazon. Get involved in Amazon's affiliate program so you can include a link for the reader in that content. Lots of luck and prosperity!

thanks so much for the advice! Much Appreciated! I put a few affiliate links from amazon, but that was just to see if I could do it lol. I haven't put the actual links yet that I hope will bring in revenue. I figured I don't have traffic yet, but I would put the links in before my first youtube video. Am I off on that?
Not sure what you mean get involved in amazons affil prg so I can include a link for the reader?

i re-read your advice and understand now. thanks so much! I'm an amazon affiliate, I just need to get to work on my links. thanks again! very grateful :)

I would put them in now because you never know, you could be missing re-occuring clients that might have already bought something by now and might come back and get something else. It's not going to hurt you to put the links in now that way you know for sure your not missing out on any sales if someone happens to stumble upon your website. Im glad to help! Any more questions give me a shout!

Oh! Also, do the affiliate bootcamp in the training section. Its great training to step you through being an affiliate marketer, even if you dont market memberships to Wealthy Affiliate.

That is something that I wanted to do after my other training, but I just go to a part in my training where Kyle is talking about the WA affiliate program and using my WA link. I know I've done this once, but I can't find the page that Kyle is showing in his training video. It has training, tools, affiliate program etc...

This is great to hear Michael. WA is definitely a great place to learn everything step-by-step, and great to hear about your progress.

I know you have not been at WA for long, so you are probably not aware of the rules. But please be aware that we are not allowed to share links to our own websites in WA blog posts, so please remove that link.

Another small advise is to not try to build too many websites at once. It is better to put all your energy into building one successful one, and once you get the process down, you can start expanding to others. There is a risk of burning out or spreading out thin, if you start too many sites from the beginning.

All the best,
Mikael

ahhhh, yes I'm very new and didn't know that. I will fix it asap. What about the link on the bottom? Is that ok? and thanks for the advice about not doing too many sites too quick

In the WA blog posts we are not allowed to put links to our own sites anywhere. But on your own profile there is an area in the left side below your profile picture where you can list you websites, so people can find them there.

got it, thanks so much

Are you sure about this Mikael? Because Eddy with a Y is a main affiliate marketer for Wealthy Affiliate and I've seen him put links to his own websites in blog posts?

Yes I am sure. Unfortunately even experienced members or ambassadors sometimes do it anyway. But if it was allowed it clearly opens up for spam and people would be promoting their own website constantly instead of focusing on helping.

But you can check out the rules to see for yourself:
